Transcription: We finally landed in Peking. We didn't know whether there would be a large crowd or just an official welcome. When we landed, we knew absolutely nothing about what kind of reception we were going to receive. Here's the historic handshake between Nixon and Choe and Lye. Important because John Foster Dulles had refused to shake Choe's hand. This is the road into the city, going down the main drag. Totally cleared of people and bicycles and everything.
